Invisalign Touch-Up Treatment (for Minor Teeth Shifting)

If your teeth have shifted just a bit since braces or Invisalign®, you’re not alone — and you don’t necessarily need to start full treatment again.

Invisalign is an excellent treatment option for children, teens and adults! We’re proud to be the most experienced Invisalign providers in Augusta and Grovetown, bringing you and your family the highest quality of personalized care.

We’re Invisalign Sapphire Providers! That means Dr. Andrews is in the top 1% of all Invisalign providers in the country.

Our skill and experience enable us to provide Invisalign First for kids, Invisalign for teens, and Invisalign for adults.

What Is an Invisalign Touch-Up?

An Invisalign Touch-Up is a streamlined treatment option for patients who only need minor corrections. Think of it as a lighter version of Invisalign (similar in concept to Invisalign Express) designed for small movements rather than comprehensive orthodontic care.

This treatment is ideal for:

  • Adults who had braces and noticed minor shifting over time
  • Patients who stopped wearing retainers consistently
  • Anyone looking for Invisalign for minor adjustments without committing to full treatment

You’ll still receive custom-made Invisalign® clear aligners from Top 1% Blue Diamond Invisalign Provider, just fewer trays and a shorter treatment timeline.

How Invisalign Touch-Up Treatment Works

Getting your smile back on track is simple and efficient!

Step 1: Complimentary Consultation

Meet with Dr. Andrews for a complimentary exam and digital scan. We’ll take a digital scan and evaluate whether an Invisalign Touch-Up is right for you.

Step 2: Custom Treatment Plan & Aligners

If you’re a candidate, we’ll design a customized plan using Invisalign® clear aligners to make precise, controlled adjustments. Each tray gradually moves your teeth into better alignment.

Step 3: Protect Your Results

Once your treatment is complete, we’ll provide a new retainer and guidance to help you maintain your results long-term.

Most Invisalign Touch-Up cases are completed in just a few months.

Please note: not every patient qualifies for a Touch-Up. Some cases require full orthodontic treatment to properly address underlying bite or alignment concerns. We’ll always recommend the most effective path for your long-term smile health.

Invisalign After Braces: Why Teeth Shift

Even after successful orthodontic treatment, teeth naturally tend to shift over time — especially if retainers aren’t worn consistently.

That’s why we emphasize: retainers = night time for a lifetime.

Without consistent retainer wear, natural biological forces can slowly move teeth out of alignment. If it’s been a few years since treatment, an Invisalign Touch-Up is often the easiest way to restore your smile without restarting full orthodontics.

Our board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Andrews, specializes in helping patients refresh their smiles and get back into a stable, confident alignment.

Financing Invisalign Touch-Ups

Easy, Flexible, and Affordable Options

We believe smile refinements should be accessible. That’s why Invisalign Touch-Up treatment is typically more affordable than full orthodontic treatment and we offer flexible payment options to fit your budget.

Options include:

  • 0% interest in-house financing
  • Customized down payment and monthly payment plans
  • FSA and HSA payment options
  • Insurance assistance — we’ll help submit claims for you

Understanding Invisalign Touch-Up Cost

The Invisalign touch up cost is generally lower than comprehensive Invisalign treatment because fewer aligners and fewer visits are required. Every case is different, so your exact cost will depend on your specific smile needs, but we always review all pricing upfront so there are no surprises.

Our team handles the paperwork so you can focus on what matters most: your smile.

Family-Friendly Convenience

If your child or teen is also undergoing orthodontic care — whether braces or Invisalign First — you can take care of your own smile at the same time.

While your family is in for appointments, we can quickly scan your smile and determine if a Touch-Up is right for you. It’s an easy, efficient way to combine family orthodontic visits.

Your Complimentary Consultation

At your complimentary consultation, Dr. Andrews will perform a physical exam of your smile, and we’ll take digital x-rays and diagnostic photos. X-rays and photos are included in your free consultation!

Dr. Andrews will use these images to determine your orthodontic needs and create your personalized treatment plan.

The initial exam will take about 40 minutes to complete. Once Dr. Andrews explains your treatment plan and answers all of your questions, your braces will be ready for placement!

If you choose Invisalign, your teeth will be scanned with our digital iTero® scanner and we’ll get to show you a simulated preview of what your new smile could look like at the end of treatment.

Why Patients Love Invisalign Touch-Ups

  • Fast treatment times
  • Virtually invisible aligners
  • Comfortable and removable
  • No food restrictions
  • Fewer office visits

  • Confidence-boosting results

Frequently Asked Questions About Invisalign Touch-Up Treatment

Invisalign Touch-Up and Invisalign Express are very similar. Both are designed for Invisalign for minor adjustments and small cosmetic or alignment changes. The main difference is that “Touch-Up” is often a more personalized term used by orthodontic offices, while Invisalign Express is an official Invisalign treatment tier with fewer aligners and shorter treatment time.

The Invisalign touch up cost is typically lower than full Invisalign treatment because fewer aligners and fewer appointments are needed. Pricing varies depending on your specific needs, but most cases fall into a more affordable, limited-treatment range. We always review all costs upfront during your consultation so there are no surprises.

You may be a candidate if you have small shifts after braces or Invisalign, mild crowding, or minor spacing changes. However, more complex bite or alignment issues may require full orthodontic treatment. We’ll evaluate your smile during your consultation to determine the best option.

Yes! Retainers are essential after any orthodontic treatment, including Invisalign Touch-Up. Wearing your retainer nightly helps maintain your results and prevents future shifting.

In many cases, yes. Invisalign for minor adjustments can be used to correct a single tooth or small areas of movement, depending on your overall bite and alignment.

If your teeth have shifted slightly and you want a quick, discreet, and affordable fix, Invisalign Touch-Up is often a great option. It allows you to improve your smile without restarting full orthodontic treatment.
