Invisalign FAQ

Thinking about clear aligners but still have questions? You are in good company. Below are the answers we share most often with patients considering Invisalign at Rogers & Andrews Orthodontics.

How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign uses a series of clear, custom-made aligners that gently shift your teeth a little at a time. You wear each set for about one to two weeks before moving to the next, gradually guiding your teeth into their ideal position.

Is it really invisible?

The aligners are made of smooth, transparent plastic that fits snugly over your teeth, so most people will not notice you are wearing them. That discretion is one of the biggest reasons patients choose Invisalign.

How long does treatment take?

Treatment length varies with the complexity of your case, but many patients complete treatment in roughly 12 to 18 months. We will give you a personalized estimate at your consultation.

What can Invisalign fix?

  • Crowded or crooked teeth
  • Gaps and spacing
  • Many overbite, underbite, and crossbite cases
  • Mild to moderate alignment concerns

Who is it for?

Invisalign works wonderfully for adults, teens, and even younger children through Invisalign First. The best way to know if it fits your smile is a quick exam.
