Living & Eating Tips for LightForce

LightForce fits easily into everyday life — you just need to know a few simple tricks. With the right habits, you can keep your LightForce in great shape, avoid surprises, and reach the finish line faster. Here is how to live (and eat) well with LightForce.

Foods to Enjoy

Plenty of delicious foods are completely LightForce-friendly. Reach for softer options, especially right after an adjustment:

  • Yogurt, smoothies, and soft fruit
  • Pasta, soft breads, and cooked vegetables
  • Cheese, eggs, and tender proteins
  • Ice cream and pudding for a treat

Foods to Avoid

A few foods can damage brackets and wires, so it is best to skip them: hard candy, ice, popcorn, nuts, sticky caramels, and anything crunchy you would normally bite straight into. Cut apples and other firm foods into small pieces instead.

Keeping Your Mouth Clean

Brushing and flossing matter more than ever with LightForce. Brush after meals, floss daily with the tools we provide, and do not skip your regular dental cleanings. Good hygiene keeps your teeth healthy and treatment on schedule.

Handling Soreness and Surprises

Mild soreness after adjustments is normal and short-lived — warm salt-water rinses and orthodontic wax help. If a wire pokes or a bracket loosens, call us; minor issues are easy to fix.
